CODE, a design research studio, draws inspiration from the interconnectedness found in natural, social, and institutional ecosystems. The five elements systems, whether land- or water-based, natural or artificial, embody balance, adaptation, and resilience. This project is a visual identity project inspired by the interconnectedness of ecosystems both natural and social. Existing identities often lack the adaptability and vitality needed to reflect the evolving nature of such systems. The challenge was to create an identity that communicates fluidity and growth, while resonating with diverse audiences.

Design Strategy
Rooted in the philosophy of the five elements, the identity system evokes cycles of transformation and interconnected development. It uses a dynamic visual language where color and form adapt to different project contexts—mirroring ecological processes. This approach invites intuitive engagement and positions design as a living, evolving system that responds to change and fosters a sense of connection and renewal.
A shared pile. A held story. A shifting system. A lived corner.
